KPA has adjudicated 11,168 property claims
After completing its 7th session in Pristina on 19 June, the Kosovo Property Claims Commission (KPCC), has already adjudicated some 11,168 out of some 39,675 property claims submitted to the Kosovo Property Agency (KPA). The Agency will continue its work resolving the remaining claims for private immovable property originating from 1998-1999 armed conflict.
During its 7th session, the KPCC which is a part of the KPA decided on 2,850 property claims. With a total of 11,168 claims decided thus far, some 28,507 claims are still to be decided.
It is expected that the KPCC which was inaugurated in June 2007, will finalize the adjudication of all property claims submitted to the KPA in early 2010.
